Daddy-Daughter Day!

Well, on occasion Maggie and I get to have daddy-daughter day. This is usually because I don’t get to spend too much time with her during the week and God bless my wife, she just needs a break sometime. So if Alie just needs to run out and do some errands or if I need to run errands then I keep Maggie or take her with me so we can have our daddy-daughter day! We have been many places as just the two of us and it is always a sweet memory for me. Today, Alie just needed to do some running this morning and as much as she would have liked for us to go with her, we decided that Maggie and I would stay home and spend time together. Poor little Maggie has started teething so she has had some trouble sleeping through the night, and she is also a slobbery-snotty mess so some daddy-daughter time is just what we needed. She is the cutest little thing and I love taking her picture. I have ended up with many wonderful photos from our little impromptu sessions such as the ones below. I hope you all enjoy!

I love being able to see the pictures in both color and black and white. There are sometimes when a color image just can’t convey what the simplicity of a bold black and white picture can. I always like trying a picture in both and sometimes I end up liking one more than another and only keeping the one I like. Othertimes they both look good and I keep the both of them…

Easter!!

It’s Easter baby!!

We all met at Juju & Poppie Eddie’s house for an Easter lunch today. While we were there, I took some pictures for the Freeman family. (I have the full size also available too!) I hope you like them! The wind was cool and when the sun was in it was even cooler so we had to act quick to get these shots…

And a big thanks to Aunt Brea for taking these pics so I could actually be included for once. Can you see my Charm City Cakes shirt poking through?! That was a special gift from Alie because she knows how much I like watching Ace of Cakes on Food Network!

…lazy day…

Well, we decided that if the weather was nice enough on Saturday that we would take a family trip to the flea market down at the fairgrounds. Well, the wind was a little cool, but the sun was shining and we just love going so there wasn’t much stopping us. After spending quite a while down there, we were all getting a little tired so we packed up and came home. Before we left, I managed to snap a quick shot of my wonderful little family (minus me of course :)).

 Well once we got home, everyone crashed, even little Dexter dog! After about 45 minutes Maggie was up and so were the rest of us so I took advantage of the nice light coming through our bedroom window.

(Isn’t my beautiful wife just lovely :D)

Little Dexter will have to make more appearances on here as he sometimes gets left out since little Maggie came along. He was sporting his new shirt that said “Good Dog” that we got for him at the flea market! What a lazy day the rest of the day turned out to be…

little Jack…

Today we had a photoshoot for little Jack’s 3 month pictures! His family was wonderful to have in our home and although we started a little slow, we sure finished with a bang! He was such a good boy for the photoshoot and although he is still working on raising his head during tummy-time, he was a real trooper 😀

Well, I had a few more pics from baseball practice that I wanted to work on and I finally found time to do just that. I really enjoy a nice black and white picture so I thought these two would fit perfectly!

Baseball Practice

I love attending any event that allows me to bring my camera as I can always use the extra practice to improve. Well, I found out the other day that my nephews were starting baseball and they were going to have a practice this past weekend. Unfortunately Brea & J (their parents) weren’t able to take the boys to practice so Poppa Eddie was going to take them.  Well, what could be better…first time ball players and a nice day to take pictures so I asked if I could go too 🙂

 So Poppie Eddie and I got to watch an hour of practice and here are a few of my favorites:
