Such a sweet little boy! Six-month old Bode was full of smiles when we first started our session, but he soon found his lower lip and wouldn’t let it go. It didn’t matter in the slightest as we had so many cute pictures from our time together. He was such a happy little guy and we couldn’t have asked for better weather for an outstanding session. Bode’s mother was also wonderful to work with and I had such a great time getting to know her throughout our session. Well, enough of my words and now on to some great photographs.
This next one is one of my favorites:
Talk about a full weekend. I got to have both my parents and my brother and his family in my home for the whole weekend. It was great to have them all here, and I was even more happy to oblige when Lori, my sister-in-law, asked me to take a few pictures of my niece and nephew. I haven’t got to take any pictures of them in such a long time, so I was ecstatic to be able to. After such an action packed weekend, here is what I was able to capture!
Little Dane is now 8 months old!
I love this picture of my brother and Dane:
And we can’t forget Sophie:
And what would be best than a mommy daughter picture!
I have been taking pictures of Hudson for a while now and I was so excited when his mother contacted me about taking his 9 month pictures and some of his new little brother. Hudson’s parents went to Ethiopiaabout a month ago to finally meet and bring home little Sol (Solomon) who was about 3 months old. It was such a joy to see these two brothers interacting and just to see this family as a whole loving on each other. These two little men are just adorable and were in quite the good mood for our session. I am so glad that their mother trusted me to capture these precious moments of these two brothers! Please enjoy 🙂
Lets start with Hudson:
And of course our baseball picture…
Now for Sol to have his turn in the spotlight:
And we have even started the same tradition with Sol…the baseball pic! I even c0nverted it to sepia tone to match the first one we took of Hudson.
This little guy had quite the first birthday! Family and friends came over to help celebrate and they were all in for a big treat. There was a ton of good food and the kids even got to go outside and play in sprinklers and a little pool. Brady’s mom had asked that I come early to take some one-year portraits and then stay to take pictures during the party. I couldn’t have asked to be around such a nicer group of people as they were so accommodating and welcoming, and in the end I felt like part of the family! To Brady’s mom and dad: I hope cleanup wasn’t too bad, all the balloons finally came down, and I hope you like you preview!!
Here is a first for the blog… a wedding! This wonderful lady worked with my wife and after seeing the prom pictures she asked if I would be interested in shooting their wedding. I couldn’t say no and I am so glad I got to be their photographer! All I had ever heard other photographers say is that weddings are one of the hardest gigs. There is so much stress over getting everything just right, but no one says how much fun they can be. The wedding was held on Vanderbilt’s campus in Benton Chapel. It was a unique place with great character that really fit this couple well! I had such a great time with this amazing couple and I hope they are just as pleased as I am with their pictures.
I am so glad that I took this assignment and I need to throw out a big thanks to my wife, Alie, who assisted me on this big day. No one could have asked for a better assistant and she stuck with me from start to finish!
Congratulations to the newlyweds and thank you again for giving me this opportunity! Just a word of caution, there are a lot of pictures posted, but out of the entire collection this is just a drop in the bucket!
Last, but not least a special request from the bride and groom. They wanted a group picture of everyone who came to their wedding and this is what we were able to do:
