Monthly Archives: February 2009

Busy, busy, busy is the best way to describe this past month! Well, to top it off I got to see little Jaxon again and my how he has grown! He was just so much fun to spend the morning with and his parents are just the best. I had so many great pictures to choose from it was hard to narrow it down, but I am sure his parents will like all of them.

This last picture was so much fun. I had picked up this old milk crate to use as a prop, but I had been waiting until that “special” shoot for it to make its debut. I think that this was the perfect opportunity for it to do so!

Ahh…sweet baby Kaylor is getting sooo big now! She is 9 months old and she is turning into quite the adorable little girl. She is just growing so fast and moving so fast now too!┬áIt was all I could do to keep up with this little cutie, but we sure had a good time with her shoot. We battled with a lack of light at first, and then we got on a roll with some really cute pictures. Thanks to some great weather we even had an opportunity to go to a nearby park to get some final shots as seen in this sneak peek! It is so neat to see how much this little girl has grown and I can’t wait to continue watching her grow!

After processing all the pictures, I went back to these pictures and added a sepia tone to really add to the vintage feel of them. This really made me love them even more!

…Sweet Emilea…

I had the most fun during a three month session for little Emilea this past Saturday! I had been communicating with Emilea’s mother and finally made the connection that I knew her daddy from my old job!! Emilea’s daddy works for a great company that I used to help support and I had even worked with him on a few occasions. He was just the best to work with so I was so excited to be able to do this session for him and his new family. Little Emilea reminds me of my sweet Maggie at this age with those bright blue eyes and fun personality. She was such a sweet little girl for the entire shoot and I ended up with so many great pictures that it was hard to just choose a few to show off. These are just so great and her big blue eyes just make you want to smile!

To Emilea’s mommy and daddy, it was great spending the morning with you and I hope that you just love your pictures!

Last but not least I was able to capture this sweet moment when Emilea got a little hungry. This tender moment just put a whole new spin on family pictures!
