These precious twins have just grown so much! I haven’t seen them since they were newborns and I was so thrilled when their mother contacted me to do a six month session. Since the twins were able to sit up and we were having decent weather, I suggested that we venture to the Parthenon. What an evening we had there! The park was alive with people doing all kinds of things like dancing, playing music, playing games, and even strolling. Overall we had a great session and just look at what we were able to create:

We got to spend a portion of last week over in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. This is where Alie and I went on our honeymoon almost 7 years ago, and boy has it continued to grow and change since we were here last. We had the whole family with us this time — Juju, Poppie Eddie, the Freeman family, and of course little Maggie. We had such a great time with each other and (besides the go-carts) the most fun I had was at the aquarium we visited. It was the Ripley’s Aquarium in Gatlinburg, and it was so much fun. Alie and I had also visited this aquarium when we were here last, and it too had improved. The kids loved all that the aquarium had to offer, and I managed to get a few pictures while we were there.
The aquarium had these tank observation windows that emitted a wonderful blue light and had a shade of blue that you would have to see to believe.
Last weekend was a busy weekend!! We had all sorts of family and friends in our home to celebrate my completion of my Masters Degree! I finally graduated, after starting this journey two years ago, receiving both my Masters Degree in Arts in Education as well as completing the requirements for my teaching licensure. It is so nice to finally be done and now I can also dedicate more time to my family and photography too! My family took some pictures at the graduation, but my favorite came from a photographer from the Lebanon Democrat in Lebanon, TN. Maggie was having a hard time letting me take part in graduation by myself. She just wanted to come see me while I was standing in line so I bent down to console her and to send her back to her seat. At that moment the photographer caught this:
Later that evening my wife hosted a graduation party at our house for me and we had a huge turnout! It was so nice to have all of these individuals in our home who have supported me over the past few years. Thank you again to all of our friends and family that were able to attend!
The next day, little JT had his first birthday party where we all got to gather together again! He is just getting so big and I wanted to post a few pics from his party. He is such the big boy now! Maggie just loves being able to spend so much time with all of her cousins!
If you recall a few months ago I did a maternity shoot for my wife’s Jump Rope for Heart coordinator, Mandy. Well, at the beginning of this year, she had her twins! They were a little premature, so we had to wait until they were of a healthy enough weight before putting them through a session. Photography sessions can really wear out an infant because of all the movement, so I like to be safe and allow them to be good and healthy before performing the session. They were just so sweet and precious! I just loved being able to work with this wonderful family again and I can’t wait to see these two little one’s grow! Enjoy some newborn goodness from Josh and Julia 🙂
My dear sweet sister-in-law, Brea, and her hubby Jonathan have adopted a sweet little boy a few weeks ago. They finally got to bring him home last Friday night and Alie and I stopped by to see all of them and to meet our new nephew this past Saturday. He is such a sweet little boy with a head full of curly hair. His official name is Joshua Tucker, but the fam’ has started with the nickname JT. Personally, I think he has a great name, but that is just my opinion 🙂
Anyway, you all are here for my pictures, not my words so off to the goods:
This weekend is the Franklin Main Street Festival down in historic Franklin, TN. Alie and I have never been and she got got an invite from Freshie and Zero to come down to the Mama Made Spring Market to check things out. (We love Freshie…she is awesome to work with and makes great jewlery! I picked up a pair of earrings from her for Alie for Valentine’s Day this year and Alie even picked up another pair later since she liked them so much.) Anyway, let’s get back on track…
It was a street festival and our little family got to go out and have some fun!! Little Maggie had such a good time with all the sights and sounds. We got to meet up with Alie’s friend Molly and my buddy Josh was suppose to meet us there too. (He didn’t make it there, so we swung past his house to visit with him for a while). Geeze…off track again…so we are at the festival walking around seeing everything, doing a little shopping, and just enjoying a gorgeous day. We got to spend some good quality time with Molly and even take some pictures…because I try to never leave the house without my camera!
Like I said previously, my buddy Josh was suppose to come meet us…but we got to go to his house instead to visit him. He hadn’t got to see Maggie since she was about a month old, so I think she surprised him on how big she had gotten. I think Alie managed to capture this one of “Uncle” Josh and Maggie, but with us both taking pics we don’t remember who did!
It was such a good day and we all had so much fun we didn’t want it to end!
