Has it been over a year since I have photographed this little girl?! Her mother and I have been trying to get a date worked out for a while, and finally a few weekends ago we found the time we were searching for. We spent the morning taking some wonderful pictures that I am sure her parents will enjoy!

I remember the first time I had a session with Lilli, she reminded me so much of my little Maggie. She was this sweet little blonde haired girl who had these big blue eyes that would just melt your heart. When her mommy sent me a request to do her 2 year pictures I couldn’t wait to see how much she had grown in a year! We scheduled to shoot down in Nashville at the Parthenon again to take advantage of the grounds and the architecture. Sure enough, Lilli was just as sweet as ever and she has gotten so big now! Just have a look…

I love how her mommy and daddy snuck a quick kiss in while we were waiting for her to come back around the column!

So we took some time yesterday evening to try to shoot Maggie’s two year pictures. She was a little distracted during our shoot (we were at Poppie and Juju’s and she wanted to play) but we still managed to get some cute shots of her. She is getting so big and she has the cutest little smile! I just can’t believe how sweet she is. Alie and I love being around her and playing with her. We are so proud that our baby has grown up into this little girl!!

Here is Maggie playing with her watering can. Thanks to Poppie her favorite past time while at their house is watering the flowers with her little watering can.

There’s that smile! Dimples and all 🙂

And here is Maggie “reading” Dumbo, which is her favorite book. She is getting quite good at showing the pictures to her audience as she “reads.”

I have been working with Sophia’s mother to schedule a date for our session and we finally got to have one! She was such the sweet little girl and we hit it off from the start! She started out “cheesing” just as her parents had worked on with her 🙂

We had a great session with many smiles and giggles. It was hard to choose some pictures for a preview, but these were some of my favorites!

You know when you start with a picture like this, its going to be a great day!

These next few were done in sepia tone to create a vintage feel based on our location at Moss-Wright Park.

We even had time to get a family picture or two in while we were shooting.

Hudson and Harper at the park!

Well, little Hudson’s mommy contacted me for his 6 month pictures and asked if we could also take some pictures of his sister that just turned 2 years old. I was certainly happy to do this for them as his sister, Harper, is about the same age as my Maggie! So with much anticipation we scheduled and hoped for nice weather. Well, the time came and we had such a good time at the park during our session. I had so many great pictures to choose from, I decided to do a BIG post as I want to show all of them off! I hope you like them as much as I do 🙂

Let’s first start with little Hudson. He is just growing so fast! It must be all those “green vegetables”!!

Of course we had to get another baseball themed picture in there. Luckily we had a couple of good ones!

Here is Hudson and his big sister Harper.

And for my favorite. Harper’s mommy asked if I would mind replicating the picture that I did for Jackson last month where he had his daddy throwing him into the air. Harper and her daddy love to do this too and I am in love with this picture. I told Alie that I want one just like it of me and Maggie!
Check out the larger version too!

…and some of the best I have yet to see. This was 2 year old Jackson and he was non-stop and had the best facial expressions ever!! I was able to see from happy to sad, pouty to grumpy, inquisitive to surprise, and so many more! I was so amazed how energetic and expressive this little guy was, and he was just 2! It took him a few minutes to warm-up to me, but by the end of the session he was coming over and getting under my arm to get a sneak peek at his pictures when I was looking through them on the camera.

This little man kept me smiling and laughing the whole time during our shoot and I ended up with so many great shots that it was hard to narrow it down to just a handful to tease his parents with. I think the best memory I have from this shoot was the squirrels that were all around us. Jackson couldn’t say “squirrel” so he called them a “mousshh” (mouse) and he tried his best to chase after each and every one. This entire session was just wonderful from start to finish!

To mom and dad: I hope you had as much of a good time as I did with your session. I hope that this teaser is just what you need to brighten up your day 🙂

Lets start off with a close-up of those big blue eyes!

Looking for the “mousshh”

Air time with daddy

We even took time for some quick ball playing

Blowing kisses!

Plus so many more wonderful shots!
