Sweet baby McClain has been growing over the past three months! She is such a good-natured baby and was full of smiles during the whole session! I appreciate her parents being willing to work with my schedule because of the arrival of Baden and the end of school. We ended up venturing down to Centennial Park for our session, where we came away with some of the most beautiful shots! I had such a great morning with McClain’s parents that you can totally tell how it related back to our photographs. Just take a look and see!
Well, it has been almost a month since the arrival of our new baby boy, Baden. Once we got home, I couldn’t wait to take some more “formal” pictures of my son. I had taken quite a few in the hospital, and I will love and cherish those photos, but I wanted to do some special ones for Alie and I and our family. I am pleased and proud to introduce our new son, Baden!
What a privilege it was to have a session for this young man! When Alie and I bought our first home almost 8 years ago, Derek and his family were our neighbors! When I heard that he was a senior this year and was in need of senior pictures I jumped at the chance to help this great young man. We had been trying for months to schedule the perfect time for his session and we finally were able to get him! I think we got some fabulous portraits that his family will be able to cherish for a long while. Congratulations and we are all so proud of you, Derek!
Derek also took up soccer this year. We had to work in some pictures in his uniform just before they went to play for (and eventually win) the Robertson County Cup! This picture can only be appreciated in a larger view!!
That’s right, our little family of 3 is increasing by 1 more! I have been asking Alie if she would like to do some maternity photos in hopes she would say yes. Here lately she has been so ready for all of the little nuances of being pregnant to go away just so she can enjoy this last pregnancy and her family. Our new son, who coincidentally is due in 5 days, has been giving his mother a hard time and I just wanted to do something to make her feel better about herself. She finally agreed to some “quick” pictures in the backyard a few weekends ago and said that she may be up for more in the coming weeks until his delivery. Lets just say that she hasn’t been in the mood for any more pictures since our quick session, so she finally let me post what I did have. I think she still looks just as beautiful as ever and of course sweet Maggie had to be included to make for some memorable photos!
And just a cute moment between Alie and Maggie who were making faces at each other 🙂
So we are in the season of family portraits! Spring has allowed everyone to finally come out and to enjoy the weather, and this family was first on my list. I have known them for a while now because I have had the privilege of teaching with this wonderful woman for the past three years! I was so happy she asked me to take some family pictures for her. Just look how sweet of a family this is with their two little girls:
So a wonderful lady I work with has recently become a new mother again! Through Jonah’s Journey she was able to become a foster-mother to this sweet newborn baby boy! He is such a precious little guy that is just loved by his new family and all that meet him. Just take a look how precious he is!
So sweet baby McClain came over to have a 3 month photo session. She is just the most precious little girl and just as cute as could be! As much as I want to type about the ups and downs of our photo session, I just can’t wait to get to the pictures. It was one of those sessions where we had so many photos to choose from that I didn’t even know where to start. Here are a few of my favorites!
